The Challenge
ICCB Heritage Restaurant had premium food, a strong location, and a unique dining environment—but its social media did not reflect that value. The page had around 20K followers, low engagement, and limited reach outside its existing audience. People saw food posts, but they did not see a memorable reason to visit, celebrate, or share. The challenge was to turn a restaurant into a recognisable Mughal-inspired experience, create weekday demand beyond dine-in traffic, and reach new customers through Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
The Strategy
Positioned the restaurant around a distinctive Mughal-inspired food and dining experience. Built content around food, décor, family moments, celebrations, and customer experiences. Planned festival campaigns and restaurant events that gave audiences reasons to visit and share. Introduced corporate lunch and afternoon snack offers for nearby office areas. Used short-form video to increase reach, watch time, shares, and discovery. Promoted strong-performing content through Meta to reach non-followers. Connected Facebook and Instagram activity with WhatsApp for bookings, enquiries, and offers.
Keyword & Search Intent Research
Identified what the target audience was actually searching for, and matched video topics to real search demand instead of guesswork.
Title, Description & Metadata Optimization
Rebuilt titles, descriptions, and tags around search and discovery, so YouTube's algorithm could correctly categorize and surface each video.
Retention-Focused Structuring
Adjusted pacing and structure of new uploads to hold watch time longer, since watch time directly drives recommendation reach.
Performance Tracking & Iteration
Set up a simple system to track which videos and formats performed best, so future content could double down on what worked.
What I Did
Managed Facebook, Instagram, Meta promotion, and WhatsApp growth independently for around 1.5 years. Created the content direction, campaign themes, and social-media growth plan. Developed and executed festival, event, family, and corporate food campaigns. Turned the Mughal-inspired restaurant concept into a clear and shareable brand story. Monitored reach, followers, video plays, interactions, and content performance to repeat what worked.
The Results
The Facebook page grew from around 20K to 150.8K followers, adding more than 130K followers during the project. In one 90-day reporting period, the content reached 10,190,869 people, including 10,089,399 non-followers. Video content generated 3.2M 3-second views, 75.8K content interactions, and 512 days 6 hours of total watch time. One high-performing video alone reached 1,234,283 people, generated 1,270,662 plays, 142,020 3-second views, 41,636 minutes watched, and 933 reactions and comments.
Why Choose Me
I Build a Brand Story, Not a Posting Calendar
Most restaurant pages post menu images. I find the experience, cultural angle, offer, and customer reason that makes people care enough to share.
I Work Across Content, Growth, and Offers
The work was not limited to social posts. I connected content with events, corporate lunch demand, promotions, Meta distribution, and WhatsApp enquiries.
I Focus on Discovery Beyond Followers
The strongest result was not just follower growth. More than 10M of the 10.19M reach came from non-followers, proving the content was reaching new audiences.

Signs Your Restaurant Social Media Needs a New Strategy
Good food is not enough if people do not see it, remember it, or have a reason to act.
-
Posting Food Without a Story
Your page shows dishes but does not communicate the experience, culture, occasion, or emotion that makes customers want to visit.
-
Reach Stays Inside Your Followers
Your content receives a few likes from existing followers but rarely reaches new people in your city or target market.
-
No Offer for Weekday Demand
You depend too much on weekend dine-in traffic without a plan for corporate lunch, office snacks, group bookings, or delivery demand.
-
Events Are Not Marketed Properly
Festival nights, family packages, and restaurant events happen, but the content is posted too late or lacks a campaign strategy.
